A single-varietal Syrah from the estate’s “Monocastas” range, celebrating the purity and expressiveness of each grape grown among forests and wildlife. 

Extended maceration and ageing in French oak develop a wine rich in blackberry, wild berries and subtle meaty notes with firm but ripe tannins. 

Vigorous, structured and juicy, it pairs beautifully with steak au poivre, mustard-based sauces, or aged and spicy cheeses.

Quinta do Gradil is one of Portugal’s oldest wine estates, with documented origins dating back to 1492. Its vineyards benefit from a unique meeting of Atlantic influence and inland warmth, allowing both Portuguese and international varieties to thrive. Quinta do Gradil is known for producing elegant, character-driven wines and their bold use of varieties obscure in Portugal like Tannat or Malbec.
