A blend dominated by Alicante Bouschet - an obscure French grape that found a new home in Lisboa where it makes powerful bold wines. 

Complex, full bodied wine with red and black fruit, spices, leather and tobacco. Shines when paired with red meats, game, stews and long matured cheeses.

Adega de Azueira is a cooperative winery based in the Lisbon region with over 50 years of history, partnering around 400 growers and managing roughly 1,200 hectares of vineyards. It produces over 10 million litres of wine annually combining traditional Portuguese grape varieties with international ones. Atlantic-influenced climate and gently sloped land and shape its characteristic wines.
